I’ve never been a fan of the PS3 ads and this one is no different. After watching this I feel less weirded out and more completely wondering who gets paid for thinking up these ads. They are terrible, hire me or something. Have you seen the Japanese ads? They are so much better.

Found a video of this great level on Little Big Planet. Not only does it give me some great ideas, something needs to drag me back from Fallout 3 for an hour today. I’ll give a full review if I can find it online.

Updated news about the PS3 auction I won and the false information I was provided. I decided to keep the PS3, he doesn’t care if I leave good feedback or not cause he just sells stuff. So I am leaving him the worst feedback as possible. Sellers should have some responsibility for their items they are selling. I didn’t get ripped off price wise, but I got ripped off cause I was tricked into a purchase I wasn’t ready for. I didn’t want to do much retro gaming so I am not too bothered by not having backwards compatibility even though that is why I purchased a PS3 from eBay.

I am now a proud owner of a 80gb PS3 which cannot play any PS2 games unlike what was advertised and backed up by the auctioneer on eBay. I feel bad cause I was searching for a certain product and he was so careless with his information he feed me now I’ll have to leave him bad feedback unless he sucks up to me.

After this message I check the compatibility list on PlayStation’s website, and I was pleased. Then I get my PS3 in the mail!

I look at the model number and think… huh I thought the CECHK01 doesn’t play any PS2 games. Then being a good boy before I opened it up went to check on it and yep there it is.

Does not have any PS2 support what so ever.

Now I am faced with giving this guy the worst possible rating he has ever gotten cause I bothered to ask if he was SURE his facts were correct and he lied to me to make the sell. So I sent him a responce telling him if he wishes for me to leave a 5 star feedback, which was one of his conditions if I purchased the system, he will have to discuss options. I don’t feel bad cause he didn’t meet my conditions and I won’t meet his. I was thinking a copy of Soul Caliber IV and an extra controller would certainly help me feel like I wasn’t ripped off.

I’ll keep you updated. Right now my PS3 is sitting in a sealed box still.

I was surprised today to hear about a new Punch Out for the Wii cause I actually sat down and played a little of the original Punch Out today. While the announcement for the DSi made me loose even more faith in Nintendo. Don’t get my wrong I love my DS, but I also don’t understand why they have to improve it.

My faith in Nintendo has been going south for a while now as I see them ignoring most of their core fans. Their announcement of a game everyone will be looking forwards to must of been Punch Out, though I have not seen any good coverage on it yet, just a tiny little montage video with 2 seconds of footage of it.

I sat down with Bill today and played on his PS3, and I can see that is where I will be investing my money when I make the move to a console system above my Gamecube.
